Punxsutawney Phil says Six More Weeks

There are few people in this world that I am willing to do things for. The amount of people that are worthy of my love number less than 20. I may like you, but love is a hard thing to give out. Because as I mentioned last time, love = sacrifice. That’s pretty much how to sum it up. Because when you love someone, you set aside your personal feelings to do something that will make that person happy.
And my personal feelings about this whole “25 things about you” craze that’s hit the social networks and launched thousands of blog posts is another fad that I usually turn my head at and roll my eyes in the unoriginality of the whole concept. But for you, Kaitlin…
- I did this whole list backwards starting at 25. So, the beginning is actually the end. This list will make more sense if you start at 25 too.
- This took waaaayy too long. The problem isn’t that I don’t know myself, it’s just hard trying to share things that everyone doesn’t already know. Because if that was the case, this list would’ve been easy peasy.
- Speaking of which, “Spunch cares not for human pain. Only for its own fruity goodness.”
- I’m running out of ideas here so I found this sentence in an old e-mail that I thought was interesting, “Kellie does not need kung fu. She know ancient noodle trick involving flying crane and teriyaki sauce.”
- I hate Nick Nolte
- A couple years ago, this comic book artist’s (or writer, I can’t remember) house burned down. The whole comic book community really rallied together to get some money for this person and Mike Choi sent out this thing on myspace (when people still used it) that if you donated, he’d send you a sketch of whatever character you wanted. Well, I’d been on the wait list for a commission for some time as I was trying to get a really nice drawing of Maverick for Gary (because that was (might still be) one of his favorite characters). So I donated some money and I got the sketch and was going to give it to Gary, but at the top it says “To Kellie”. If I cut it off, the whole piece will look really awkward, so… I kept it.
- Scott once said I reminded him a lot of Juno and Bonnie once said I reminded her of Jane Eyre. Both of these were two of the coolest compliments I’ve ever gotten.
- As far as pants go, I have two pairs of snow pants, one pair of black pants, and all the rest are jeans.
- Now even though Bonnie and Rey have ruined this word (in a good way though), the trait I admire more than any other in people is Dignity. One, because sometimes I feel I really lack it (cursing and whatnot) and two because it just seems so respectable. Think Grace Kelly. Ugh… I could never be like her.
- The skin around my elbows is very very slightly darker than the rest of the skin on my arms. The shift in color is also usually only apparent in a certain kind of lighting. I never noticed this until I was about 18 and then I asked my mom. She said I’ve always had that. Its a birthmark thing, apparently.
- This is my dream home. Well, the house plan that is. (If you look at the pictures, my house would be decorated completely differently) I’ve been looking at it and loving it since I first saw it in a Home Plans book 4 years ago. I know Rey doesn’t want the garage attached, so I figured if we could ever build this house, we could just make that area into something else.
- I collect counterfeit bills. I don’t do anything with them, I just like them to end with me. I have a small stack of $10s, $20s, & $50s. Still trying to get that ever elusive $100 bill.
- If I could I have lunch with anyone I haven’t already met, it would be David Bowker. I always think that having lunch with celebrities or world leaders might be a little awkward. But David and I have exchanged e-mails and we got along pretty well on those and I just think it would be fun to talk to him. However, I must say that he would absolutely abhor the idea of me doing this list. I once asked him why he clearly hated Nick Hornby so much and his reply was, “As you’ll have guessed, I’m no Hornby fan. I really do believe all that list-making that he indulges in is idiotic and damaging. I would like to challenge Nick to a fight to the death, and I know I’d win, because while I was blowing his head off he’d still be making a list of the top ten weapons he’d like to fight a duel with.”
- I have this really blissful memory of napping under a tree in a park behind the San Diego Convention Center when I was down there for Comic Con. It was probably the most satisfying nap I’ve ever taken
- My favorite character in the Soul Caliber games is Raphael. I kick ass with him.
- I’d really like to have two cats and name them Leto and Ghanima (aka Ghani)
- My favorite TV Show is the IT Crowd.
- Even though I am right handed, I can draw with my left hand.
- My favorite song is “Surround” by In Flight Safety
- My current wallpaper is from an awesome series called Ninjai.
- I wouldn’t mind living in Wyoming. With the cows.
- I’m interested in Islamic culture. I don’t want to be Islamic, but I think its fascinating.
- I love sneezing. Someone once stopped me mid-sneeze by squeezing my noise. I wanted to punch them in the face.
- I totally love Lorenna McKennitt. I have every song by her and know most her music by heart. One of the few artists who’s songs I can listen to and tell you the name and the album. I really can’t do that with any other band or artist.
- Anything worth telling, I don’t mind sharing. But secrets are secrets, so don’t think anything here is some groundbreaking revelation.
