An Excellent Day

Slept in. Went to have lunch with Sarah and Eric. Had a new and interesting meal that was Vegan that was actually mostly tasty except for the brown mustard. Came home, finished Boardwalk Empire. Made fish and chips with my parents and had an excellent dinner and now sitting down to read for a bit. Also enjoyed amusing conversation with Miguel as noted below.

I am quite excited for Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter. It looks like a lot of fun.

And we all know what I mean by fun. Plus the supporting cast is stunning!!! Rufus Sewell, Dominic Cooper, Mary Elizabeth Winstead, Alan Tudyk, Marton Csokas & Anthony Mackie!!!! Seriously, really looking forward to this. Might go to Buffalo Wild Wings and then go see it for an awesome night of awesomeness.

Look what I bought on fancy pants Blu-Ray today. Added bonus: Ken sold it to me. Decreased bonus: My player HATES HBO discs. Hates them so much I have to unplug my player because they freeze up the system. Whatever. Worth it. Ya wanna know what’s not worth it? Cruel Intentions. In restarting the player, (which is a Sony, and therefore should be awesome.) it helps to go to Netflix and check things to get everything moving along. I am then reminded that I watched the first 20 minutes of this film. It was so bad that I couldn’t continue. My goodness, that is the SHITTIEST movie I have ever seen! I mean, I saw it about 12-13 years ago maybe? Whenever it was in theaters. I think my sisters snuck me into this salacious piece of crap. For a teenager, I think I was scandalized by it. As an adult, I am horrified by the shitty empty story and god awful acting. Only redeeming factor about this piece of crap is its soundtrack which if I recall is actually quite good. Don’t ask. Netflix recommends weird things sometimes.
